SAF (STEAM Azerbaijan Festival) 2023 – was held at the Baku Expo Center on December 4-8, 2023 for students of the country and the world within the framework of the STEAM Azerbaijan project with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education.
STEAM Azerbaijan Festival was organized in 14 competitions and 1 exhibition category.
Our main goal is to realize various ideas, explore different solutions, identify talented students, gain knowledge and skills, and create conditions for new cooperation of students.
The organization of local Olympiads will create an opportunity for preliminary selection and preparation in a systematic and centralized manner to participate in competitions and Olympiads in this direction. It should also be noted that students and schools specially participate in this type of competitions held around the world. A centralized approach to the process will allow you to achieve better results. Holding such events is also effective in terms of the application and expansion of that field across the country.

Taking into account that the integration of our education into the globalized world is a priority area, the STEAM Azerbaijan project has been implemented in our country since the 2019-2020 academic year.
The "STEAM Azerbaijan" project started from the 2019-2020 academic year with the initiative of First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva and the support of the Education Institute of the Ministry of Education.
STEAM education method is a combined organization of 5 main disciplines. It is based on the idea of teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics in a joint and integrated manner. The main goal of the STEAM project is to develop 21st century skills - creativity, critical thinking, cooperation in the students studying in the general education schools of the Republic, to show students the application of scientific and technical knowledge in everyday life through practical exercises, to teach them engineering skills, to use modern ICT equipment by applying various programming languages. to increase their ability to use.
